Will joined Helen Lucas Architects in 2015, attracted by the practice’s expertise in contemporary interventions to historic buildings.

Promoted to Senior Associate in 2023, Will has led and delivered a wide range of projects, from domestic and commercial historic restorations to new build coastal homes. He enjoys working closely with clients to foster a thoughtful, collaborative approach that encompasses environmental responsibility, built-fabric detective work and the mercurial creativity of the design process.

Drawing remains central to Will’s way of working, both as a tool for exploration and as a means of communicating the brief, helping clients to appreciate and realise the full potential of the spaces they inhabit.
