Drawn to the practice’s focus on delivering well-crafted, crisply detailed architecture, Callum joined Helen Lucas Architects in 2023 upon returning to Edinburgh. 

Following his studies at the University of Edinburgh and London Metropolitan University, Callum gained experience working in London and contributing to a range of projects, from bespoke new build homes and extensions to office retrofit and refurbishment schemes.

Since joining HLA, Callum’s role within the practice has continued to grow and in 2025, he qualified as an Architect. He has contributed to a number of successful projects and has a particular interest in sustainable design approaches and the thoughtful integration of innovative technologies.
