Living Spaces

A timber-clad garden room extension and a zinc-clad first floor extension have transformed this one and a half storey terraced house in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh.

Inside the house has been completely renovated with glazed pocket doors between front and rear living spaces, oak flooring throughout, and a new kitchen and bathrooms. A curved timber stair in the centre of the plan takes you up to the extended first floor and a slot window halfway up the stair provides a glimpse of the garden beyond.
