Living Spaces

A self-build timber framed house currently under construction on the foothills of Rois-Bheinn. The living areas, organised along the west side of the house, spill out onto an elevated terrace with a panoramic view over the Isles of Eigg, Rhum and Muck while high-level glazing gives a view of the summit of Rois-Bheinn to the east.

The scheme seeks to minimise the impact on the immediate environment by including a wind-turbine, extensive native tree planting and a composting toilet.
