Nick Green

Architect | Associate

MA(Hons) MArch ARB 

 

Nick studied at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2016 and completing his Part III professional qualification in March 2019. He spent a year with EFFEKT Architects in Copenhagen and was an RSA John Kinross scholar, undertaking a period of research in Florence in 2016. 

 

After graduating, Nick joined 7N Architects and then Oliver Chapman Architects where he worked on a number of public sector and community-focused projects and led the award-winning remodelling of an Arts & Crafts house in Edinburgh.

 

Nick joined Helen Lucas Architects in 2020 and was promoted to Associate in 2023. Motivated to deliver sustainable and comfortable low energy buildings, he qualified as a Certified Passive House Designer in 2024.  

 

Nick enjoys exploring new uses of materials and colours as intrinsic parts of a design and, outside the office, has designed installations for the 2021 London Festival of Architecture and, with his partner, the 2023 Toronto Winter Stations.
