Clare Armstrong

Clare studied at Edinburgh College of Art, gaining a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) degree in 2002 and a Masters in 2003. During this time she also worked at Lee/Timchula Architects in New York (the continuation of Edward Larrabee Barnes' firm).

 

Following graduation, Clare worked on a variety of projects, including higher education buildings, masterplans, commercial and domestic architecture, for Austin-Smith:Lord in Glasgow, where she qualified as an Architect in 2005, and Bennetts Associates in Edinburgh. She joined Helen Lucas Architects in 2010 and was promoted to Associate in 2015.

 

Clare was the secretary for the judging panel of the Saltire Society Housing Design Awards from 2004-2010.
